Concrete Test Hammer High Strength is a handheld device used to determine the compressive strength of concrete. It operates based on the principle of rebound, where a mass impacts the concrete surface, and the rebound distance is measured and correlated with concrete strength. The purpose of the Concrete Test Hammer High Strength is to provide a rapid and non-destructive method for evaluating the in-place strength of concrete structures. It is particularly useful for assessing concrete quality, detecting areas of low strength or deterioration, and verifying the effectiveness of concrete repairs or rehabilitation work. 

Fully aluminum casing, high-quality internal mechanism, extra durability up to 300,000 test cycles, and an additional soft silicone cap for comfortable usage.

Test Procedure for Concrete Test Hammer High Strength (Schmidt Hammer)

  1. Preparation: Ensure the Concrete Test Hammer is calibrated and the concrete surface is clean and dry.
  2. Selection of Test Locations: Choose representative locations on the concrete surface for testing.
  3. Surface Preparation: Smooth out any irregularities on the test surface.
  4. Test Execution: Hold the hammer perpendicular to the concrete surface and press the plunger firmly. Release and note the rebound distance.
  5. Rebound Measurement: Record the rebound distance for each test location.
  6. Data Collection: Document rebound values and test locations.
  7. Interpretation of Results: Estimate compressive strength based on rebound values.
  8. Documentation: Compile test data into a report for analysis.
  9. Quality Control: Address any areas of concern identified during testing.
